About
Snapdragon Forge LLC is owned and delivered by Pete Andrus, USMC Retired, with a focus on secure cloud architecture, DevSecOps, and compliance support.
The company is named for the Snap Dragon, the privateer vessel commanded by Captain Otway Burns of Swansboro during the War of 1812. Born two miles from Swansboro's waterfront, Burns and his crew captured 42 British ships and helped defend a young nation's sovereignty. After the war he returned home and built the Prometheus - the first steamboat constructed in North Carolina - proving the same spirit that wins battles can build the future.
That is the Snapdragon Forge ethos: defend, build, innovate. Today we bring it to the digital frontier - secure cloud architecture and engineering for teams of all kinds, from the same Swansboro waterfront.
Pete served 20 years in the Marine Corps, as both an enlisted Marine and an officer, with service in Afghanistan and Iraq.
Pete holds a TS clearance, CISM, and CEH, and qualifies for 11 DoD Cyber Workforce roles.
Pete built and maintains Navy COSMOS DevSecOps pipelines, with emphasis on practical scanning, release evidence, and operational maintainability.
Snapdragon Forge is 100% veteran-owned and 100% veteran-delivered.
