Frequently Asked Questions

Why don't I see advice while I play?

Advice stays hidden until the hand is over, so you make each decision yourself. After the hand, the review shows what you chose, what basic strategy recommends for that situation, and why.

I won the hand. Why was a decision marked wrong?

Decisions are graded only on what you could see when you made them, not on how the hand turned out. A winning hand can contain a mistake, and a losing hand can be played perfectly.

Which strategy does the app use?

Recommendations follow a published 4- to 8-deck basic-strategy chart, which the app cites by name and link on the Rules & about tab. The advice always matches the table rules you choose, and the Strategy chart tab shows the full chart for those rules.

I ran out of chips. What now?

Choose "Reload chips" on the Play tab or the Progress tab. Chips are virtual practice chips: they cannot be bought, cashed out, or exchanged for anything, and there are no prizes.

How do I start over?

On the Progress tab, choose "Reset all progress", then "Erase everything" to confirm. This erases your accuracy statistics, results and missed spots, and resets your chips; your table rules, practice mode and bet stay as they are. It cannot be undone.

Uninstalling the app removes everything it stored on your device. If your device's backup service has backed it up, it may be restored when you reinstall.

Will my progress move to a new phone?

Your progress is stored on your device. It may come along if your device's own backup and restore (for example iCloud or Google backups) includes app data. There is no account or cloud sync.

Does the app need an internet connection?

No. It works completely offline and has no accounts, ads, tracking, or in-app purchases.

Is this real-money gambling?

No. The app is for practice only and does not offer real-money gambling. Basic strategy is the best play for each situation, but blackjack still has a house edge: playing correctly does not guarantee winning.
